Os Canker são um colectivo de Leiria que nasceu em 1997 com a edição do EP “Techno Vibrations”. Durante os anos que se seguiram, apresentaram a sua música um pouco por todo o país e editaram várias maquetas que lhes permitiram dar a conhecer o seu trabalho. Neste momento, encontram-se a promover o seu primeiro álbum: INTERACTIVIST, estando para isso a agendar concertos para a tour de apresentação do mesmo. “Loko Loko Man”, “Dancing with the DBDs”, “Regeneration” e “Error is the Man” são os temas de avanço que já rodam em programas de autor de várias rádios locais. Espelham um disco enérgico, cheio de riffs poderosos, em tudo semelhante à energia e densidade que a banda transmite em palco através dos seus concertos sempre únicos.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ Canker is a collective from Leiria, Portugal, which was born with the release of "Techno Vibrations" EP back in 1997. During the years that followed, they have presented their music all over the country and edited several demos which allowed them to spread their work. Currently, they are promoting their first album: INTERACTIVIST. "Loko Loko Man", "Dancing with the DBDs", "Regeneration" and "Error is the Man" are the advance songs of this work, which are already into the playlists of several author programs of many local radio stations. They reflect an energetic disc full of powerful riffs, in many ways similar to the energy and density that the band expresses on stage through their unique shows.
Hey malta quero-vos dar + uma vez os parabéns pela actuação no Via Latina. Mesmo com a parca audiência e com os problemas com o som vocês conseguiram dar um concerto super energético e com mta garra...gostei mesmo,é essa a atitude!! Boa sorte para os que se seguem... Forte abraço para todos.
