Velha Gaiteira é um projecto de música Tradicional que tem na Beira Baixa a sua morada e principal influência. Do encontro da Gaita Portuguesa com os Adufes, o Pífaro, a Caixa e o Bombo do Paúl, surgiu Velha Gaiteira com temas originais e novas interpretações de temas Tradicionais... A Velha Gaiteira acredita que a Gaita de Fole existiu por todo o País por isso, aqui estamos nós para ajudar à sua divulgação. "Contamos encontrar-te em breve para que a Velha Gaiteira possa bailar!!!"

Velha Gaiteira is a Tradicional Music project wich has on "Beira Baixa"(In the centre of Portugal,where a long time a go were all the sheperds...in the mountains...)the main influence for their music.Putting the Portuguese Bagpipe,"Adufe", "Pifaro","Caixa"(small drum) and "Bombo"(Bass Drum) all together appears the Velha Gaiteira with original musics and new versions of tradicional musics. The Velha Gaiteira belives that these BagPipes existed all along their country , so here we are to help that these Portuguese pipes got known all over the world and cultures.
